Overview
The twelfth special session of the General Assembly -- the second devoted to disarmament -- took place at United Nations Headquarters from 7 to 14 June 1982. Its deliberations were informed by the Preparatory Committee for the Second Special Session of the General Assembly Devoted to Disarmament.
