Overview
The fifteenth special session of the General Assembly -- the third devoted to disarmament -- took place at United Nations Headquarters from 31 May to 25 June 1988. Its deliberations were informed by the Preparatory Committee for the Third Special Session of the General Assembly Devoted to Disarmament.
