Overview

The Preparatory Committee of the First Review Conference was held in the Palais des Nations from 9 to 18 July 1979. It was chaired by Ambassador Oscar Vaerno of Norway.

The Preparatory Committee prepared the way for the First Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention which took place in Geneva from 3 to 21 March 1980.
