Overview

The Preparatory Committee of the Fifth Review Conference was held in the Palais des Nations from 25 to 27 April 2001. It was chaired by Ambassador Tibor Toth of Hungary.

The Preparatory Committee prepared the way for the Fifth Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention. The original session took place in Geneva from 19 November to 7 December 2001. The resumed session of the Fifth Review Conference was held in Geneva from 11 to 22 November 2002.
