Overview

The Protocol V Meeting of Experts took place from 3 to 4 April 2014. This year Ambassador Katerina Sequensova of the Czech Republic is the Chairperson-designate of the Eighth Conference. Attached here is a letter from Ambassador Sequensova outlining the preparations for the Meeting of Experts. The Coordinator on generic preventive measures this year is Colonel Jim Burke of Ireland. Attached here is the letter from Colonel Burke outlining his preparations for the Meeting of Experts. The Coordinator on National Reporting, Major Aviateur Lode Dewaegheneire of Belgium, has sent a letter to all States Parties encouraging them to submit their Protocol V national annual reports for 2014 and outlined his preparations for the session of the Meeting of Experts on national reporting. During the session on national reporting there was a discussion on a new reporting template for cooperation and assistance. The proposed reporting template is attached here.
