UNODA Meetings Place is the portal for official and other disarmament meetings. First launched in 2019, it includes information on all disarmament meetings serviced by the Secretariat of the United Nations. The portal contains archives for meeting websites previously hosted on other United Nations websites as well as basic entries for historical meetings.

The purpose of this site is to make easily accessible information, documents and statements for current and ongoing meetings. This portal shares a common architecture with the UNODA Documents Library, which gives users a more robust set of tools for searching, browsing and filtering documents and statements, including across multiple meetings.

Meetings contained in the portal are categorized as follows:

Primary organs (these include the General Assembly, the Conference on Disarmament and the Disarmament Commission);
Conferences and working groups (these include deliberative and negotiating bodies established under the auspices of the General Assembly);
Treaties and other instruments (these include annual or biennial meetings, reviews conferences and the preparatory committees, amendment conferences and other meetings of treaties bodies and of United Nations instruments);
Other bodies and official meetings (these include commemorations of international days and other multilateral meetings held within the framework of the United Nations);
Expert groups (these include groups of governmental experts established under the auspices of the Secretary-General pursuant to requests of the General Assembly); and
Workshops and other events (these include informal meetings as well as major activities carried out by the Secretariat).

The page of an individual meeting may contain items such as background information, documents and statements related to the meeting, practical information for participants, NGO representatives and the media, multimedia content, etc. A meeting page will display all relevant documents contained in the UNODA Documents Library.
